Next chapter 1/2 done!!!

It's about freaking time!!! I just finished writing the next chapter of Tower. Now I just need to send it to Kit to be edited and start working on chapter 12. Man I don't think that I have EVER had a chapter this late before (in this story anyway) It's just that this chapter was SOOO darn hard to write, it's not even that good but at this point I really want to get on to bigger and better things.

Don't sweat the small stuff I guess.

Names

So I have still been working on my names here's what I have so far. The thing I was thinking about was that because in the fanfic the girls' names mean something that relates to the princess story that they are based off of. So I really want to keep that. So here's what I was thinking.

Seto: Seth

Mokuba: Mark (still trying to find another good name)

Emi: Emily or Emi for short (emi means Beauty and I wasn't about to use Bell)

Mir: Mir means Mirror (which was because she says it like it is and that would come into Gwyn's story which is Snow white) But since she is Rapunzel I was thinking Sage which means Rood or plant (like Rapunzel -in the story- means a leaf or a plant) Or as silverdragonwolf suggested: Maryssa or Marissa and I could call her Mir for short

I think Gwyn might just be Gwendoline or Gwen which means white

HELP!!!

So I have come to the conclusion that my script just isn't ready yet for writing. But Red Rose is a VERY developed story so why not instead of making it a novel just make it a script for now?


I'm going to talk to my teacher tomorrow about it. but right now I need names for the charters. So far the list is looking something like this... (if you have some better ideas send me a message)

Seto: Seth
Mokuba: Mark
Emi: Valancy (or Val)
Mir: ?
Gwyn: ?

Of course there will be other things that will be changed about the story (like Seto's father will be his REAL father and he won't be adopted) But any tips or ideas anyone has shoot them my way!!! I'll need them!

Life

Oh my goodness, it has been a while. I was just thinking the other day how depressed I am because I haven’t been able to write or draw in so long! Stupid collage is really sucking up all my life!!! However I do have an outline for the next chapter as well as several hours of flying time from CA back to VA.

My roommate also told me that I really should take a break from school and work on my story from now to then, because I really do miss it. And more importantly I miss you guys.

But here's a question for you all (well more like two) if I used twitter for a notification for updates on blogs and stuff would you guys fallow me? Would it help?

and since Tower is drawing to a close, is there anything you want to see done before this fanfic ends?

Wow it’s been a while!

I guess I could blame school but that just wouldn’t be fair. But it would also be kind of true.

But whatever, I’m here now.

So after much thought I have decided to write Red Rose the novel for the NaNoWriMo http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/530147 I mean why not? It’ll give me motivation and I have always wanted to try NaNoWriMo <3>

I don’t have the outline for my fanfic any more but it doesn’t really matter since I’ll have to make a new one anyway.

I really can’t wait. I just have to cross my fingers and pray I don’t get to stressed out with work.

As for Tower I did some notes on what I want to happen for the next chapter (sorry it’s taking so long) Maybe I’ll sit down tonight and work on it! That would be fun. (and a nice change of pace from all the homework I have been doing.)

Questions for readers

So I have started working on ‘Red Rose’ the novel! And by started working I mean I wrote down a list of scenes I want in the story and I am trying to get the guts to show it to my mom to see what she thinks. I also asked my roommates what they thought. I mean I really don’t want to waste my time on something that I know will be a dud.

But the reason I’m writing this is because I had a few questions for all of you:

What do you want to see in the novel?

Is there anything that didn’t make it into Red Rose that you would like to see in the novel?

Anything you think I should take out?

Also in case your all wondering, yes I’m still working on “A Tall Tower” and even planning out the next story. There is just so much I have to get done that I am rather neglecting the poor story.

Red Rose the novel

So I know you guys are all fans of Red Rose and such... but... if I were to change some (all) of the names, add a few (lot) of scenes, and sent it to a publisher... would you all be interested? I want your true and unbiased option, would it be good enough?

I'm kind of torn, I mean everyone I show seems to like it... but as a shot cute story or a good story? And I know it needs LOTS of work but that's totally fine with me. I just need to know it the STORY is good enough.

Please tell me...

Been a while... yeah about that

Yeah so it's been a while, sorry about that.

But I have a perfectly good reason, My computer crashed. Yeah good old Cindy just decided not to turn on. even when the nice man came and put a new hard drive in her she just Didn't want to turn on. So we shipped her off to Dell and she's getting all fixed up.

however this (of course) means I don't have ANYTHING.

So if you guys are lucky you MIGHT get a chapter middle of September, if my luck suddenly turns cuz as of right now everything that COULD go wrong pretty much is.

Underage drinking

Now I’m assuming that you are reading this post AFTER you have read the last chapter of Tower… NUMBER 10!!!!!! Woot woot –throws confetti-

For most of you reading this, this is probably your first time reading this so let me be the first to welcome you!!! This is where I just give insight on my fanfics as well as contests and polls. We can also disuses the story if you so desire. I can also answer questions.

Now for those of you who are like me, forgetful, and wish to be updated on new journals and such if you give me your email I will be more than glad to send you updates on entries.

So how did everyone like chapter 10? Was Seto and Emi’s first kiss unexpected? Was anyone disappointed on how it all played out? I mean it could have been cuter I guess, but I almost thought this fit best. Trust me guys I was going ot wait until the NEXT fic for them to kiss but I have a feeling I am really starting to torture my poor readers. But since you guys are my readers you need to give me your thoughts on the matter.

Also with Mir and Ryou’s relationship, I think I’m having some problems with them. Mir isn’t a very romantic person and Ryou is a gentleman to a fault (darn that British boy!) if anyone has any scenes they would like to see or ideas be sure to speak them. I love hearing what people think. (sometimes I feel like you guys know this story better than I do –laughs-)

Fact of the day: the part when Mir calls Ryou and get’s his answering mashie was totally different the first time I wrote it. The first time Ryou answered the phone but as Kit pointed out it didn’t make much sense so after a good 20 minutes of discussing it we came up with this scenario. I think flows a lot better and I think God every day for Kit and her utterly amazing wisdom.

The ending was another part that I wasn’t too sure about, I almost wanted to write more but I felt like the ending I had was more gripping. What do you guys think?

Well I just sent off chapter 10 to Kit!!! I'm so excited!!! This chapter has some VERY interesting parts in it. Along with some dialog that I had a blast with.

Juicy

Well I finished the next chapter of Tower, some juicy stuff is going on -laughs madly- you all have NOOO idea how juicy. Let's just say I have been looking forward to this chapter for a LONG time!

When will this Juicy chapter be up? as soon as I re-read it and than sent it to Kit to be Betaed. Hopefully I can get it shipped out to Kit by Monday.

So since it's Friday I have a whole weekend to look forward to. Have TONS of things to do. I'm meeting my boss at 11:45 so we can talk about the story I'm writing for him. pretty intense, I should probably be going over my notes instead of doing this.
